How TechTower built Connexa Capital a custom AI-powered outreach and CRM system that sources on-thesis targets and more than doubled qualified pipeline.

Connexa Capital backs early-stage companies with capital, operators and network. Dealflow is the engine of that model, but sourcing on-thesis targets, reaching them, and keeping the CRM current is slow manual work. Connexa needed more qualified pipeline without adding headcount to do it.

The challenge

A capital allocator lives on the quality and volume of its dealflow. Connexa's partners were spending hours finding companies that fit the thesis, chasing contact details, and updating records by hand. That work does not scale with a small team, and every hour on manual sourcing is an hour not spent evaluating and closing.

What we built

We designed and deployed a custom AI-powered outreach system with full CRM integration. It sources companies that match Connexa's investment thesis, enriches and scores each one, and runs personalised sequences that land replies directly in the partners' inboxes, with the CRM updated automatically as prospects move through the pipeline.

What we deployed: on-thesis target sourcing, waterfall enrichment, ICP scoring, AI-personalised outreach sequences, and automatic CRM integration. Stack: Apify plus Claude Code for sourcing, Clay for enrichment and scoring, Attio as the CRM, Lemlist for sequencing, and n8n orchestrating the flow end to end.

How it runs

The system runs every week without TechTower in the room. New on-thesis targets are sourced, enriched and scored, the best-fit prospects enter personalised sequences, and replies surface in the partners' inboxes while the CRM stays current on its own. Connexa's team spends its time on the conversations that matter, not on the manual work that used to feed them.

The outcome

The system replaced hours of manual sourcing and CRM upkeep with infrastructure that runs on its own, and more than doubled Connexa's qualified pipeline.
