How TechTower built sourcing and targeting systems that let Lancor's executive-search team cover more mandates without adding headcount.

Lancor is a global retained executive search firm, placing C-suite leaders and board directors for private equity firms, investors, and public and private organisations. In that business, speed of coverage is the product. TechTower built the sourcing and targeting systems that let the Lancor team run more of it, without adding people.
The challenge
Executive search lives or dies on how fast you can map a market and reach the right people. Every mandate starts from a blank map, and the manual work of building that map is what caps how many searches a team can carry at once. Lancor needed to lift that ceiling without hiring against every new engagement.
What we built
We designed sourcing and targeting systems that do the market-mapping work upfront and feed a clean, scored shortlist into the team's existing process. Think of it as an extension of the team rather than a tool bolted on the side: the same people, covering more ground per week.
What we deployed: market mapping and candidate and buyer sourcing with Apify and Claude Code, waterfall enrichment in Clay, ICP-fit scoring, Attio as the single source of truth, personalised outreach in Lemlist, and n8n orchestrating the workflow end to end.
How it runs
The system maps a target market, enriches and scores every contact, and routes the right people into sequences and into the CRM automatically. The manual research that used to gate each new search now runs in the background. The team spends its time on judgment and relationships, not list building.
The outcome
Lancor's team covers more searches with the same headcount. The mapping and targeting that used to slow every mandate now happens as infrastructure, and TechTower operates as part of the team rather than a vendor on the outside.
